Because of the snow we received today and the icy roads, we are canceling practice tonight, February 20th for both Adults and Youth.

Grand Forks Youth to play basketball at half-time of Red River HS game

Special Olympics GF student athletes have been invited to play at halftime of the Red River – Fargo North high school basketball game on February 16, at Red River High School. Each Speical Olympics student athlete will get in for free along with one parent or respite care worker.

We will split our athletes into two teams and play a 5 minute half-time scrimmage. Please be to the school by 7:15 pm to participate.

Basketball Begins

Basketball is starting this Thursday, January 6 for both adults and youth. Practices for adults 22 and older will be at South Middle School. Practices for Youth (age 21 and younger) will be at Valley Middle School. Practice times for everyone will be 6:30 to 8:00 on Mondays and Thursdays. Parents of Youth athletes can take the athlete home early if the parent feels the practice length is too long for their athlete.
